"I want to comment that Laki Uma Villa was fantastic! The people were very kind and helpful. Being my first time in Bali and the typical tourist, I had no clue where I was going. They were great at helping to get to each gay spot in Kuta (beach, bar). The rooms are nice and at their rates, you can't ask for more! They don't charge extra for joiner guests and even give them the same services as paying guests. They do check the ID of very young guests (21 yo is minimum age required) or if they leave the villa unaccompanied."

Laki Uma Villa feels more like staying in your own house than in a hotel. The manager and staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms are regular hotel rooms, the master bedroom is a party-room ! It's located close to Antique Spa. Safe, quiet, clean, inexpensive, friendly and very discreet, with sometimes hot times by the pool or in the steamroom. Does have a great breakfast until late and you can get what you want."

While it was a bit far from all the action, the staff provided rides to anywhere we wanted to go around the area, including the beach, dinner and shopping. Laki Uma Villa's cute staff made the Bali trip very enjoyable. They always had advice on where to go and can organize a trip outside Kuta if needed."

"I just came back from Bali and stayed at Laki Uma Villa in Kuta. Most people don't know about this lovely place since it is a very discreet place in a quiet location but close to gay night life. The rooms are spacious and decorated with nude male paintings from local artist. The pool, jacuzzi and steamroom are just great. The owner speaks many languages and you will never see him with clothes on. It is a very good location for the nightlife and sometimes there are small but hot parties within the resort itself."

"I stayed at Laki Uma earlier this year. Nice place. Friendly and accommodating staff. Clothing optional place. Not far from Antique Spa. But you'll need a car/driver/taxi to get to Seminyak/Kuta and the clubs. I really enjoyed my stay because I just wanted to relax and hang by the pool. Only went out once. They don't mind if you bring back guests."

"Laki Uma Villa is really the only real gay hotel in Indonesia and it's really completely clothing-optional (most guys are naked all the time, but nobody forces you 2 B naked. I have been going to Bali Thailand 4-6 times a year for 10 years now, and the last five years I always stay in Laki Uma."
